Women in Leadership Luncheon presented by GIWomenCAN

Ms Iconomopoulos’ workshop aims to teach key negotiation and communication skills to attendees, necessary to navigate high stakes scenario at home or in the workplace. In particular, studies have shown that women and BIPOC individuals are particularly disadvantaged when it comes to negotiation and this can result in a negative impact on their career. The GIWomenCAN workshop on negotiation is aimed towards women and BIPOC trainees, academic staff and physicians in order to teach these valuable skills which will benefit them in situations such as patient advocacy, workplace conflict, hiring personnel and team dynamics amongst others. This will have broad relevance to the everyday work carried out by physicians and academics. For more information on Fotini Iconomopoulos, please see here.
